The city of Yorkton received over 2.3-million dollars from the Municipal Economic Enhancement Program. The money will be allocated to three projects which include 5 kilometers of paving, work on underground infrastructure, and beautification projects. The city of Yorkton is also finalizing the details for the Municipal Elections this year. Some items being considered include the ballot system, a potential drive through voting station, and finalization of the election days.
