A British Columbia man is being searched for by police in connection to a stabbing in Dauphin.

23-year-old Nicholas Ryan-McKinnon is wanted for 2nd degree murder and aggravated assault, and is believed to still be in the Dauphin area.

He is desribed as 6-foot 165lbs, with light brown hair and blue eyes.

Early yesterday morning, Dauhpin RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing at a residence on the 100 block of 7th Avenue SE, where they found a deceased 32-year-old man.

Officers were also made aware of a second male injured at the scene, but the 18-year-old was treated at hospital and was released.
