Yorkton’s Korczak and Team Canada go for World Juniors’ Gold tonight in Edmonton

Yorkton’s Kaedan Korczak and Team Canada will attempt to go for back-to-back gold medals at the world junior hockey championship tonight in Edmonton when it faces the United States.

Puck drop is at 8:30PM

The Canadians are the only team yet to lose a game at this year’s tournament and have never trailed, outscoring their opponents 41-4 through six contests.

The Canadians advanced with a 5-0 win over Russia in the Semi-finals on Monday .

Russia will play Finland for bronze.
