The Municipalities of Saskatchewan expressed disappointment of their president’s decision to travel to Hawaii amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vice President of MuniSask, Rodger Hayward says they can’t un-elect Gordon Barnhart, and right now they are in a tough spot.

Hayward admitted there is a lot of damage control to do, adding they need to look after the organization.

Barnhart, who is also the Mayor of Saltcoats, is the president until next month, when elections will be held during MuniSask’s virtual convention.
