Wind Warning In Effect

Some gusty winds are moving over parts of the area today, and wind warnings are in effect for Yorkton, Foam Lake, Wadena and Roblin among others. Northwesterly winds gusting up to 90 km/h developed overnight in areas of western and central Saskatchewan, and will move southeastward through the morning. Winds will gradually begin to taper off from west to east this afternoon and through the evening. There have been some Travel Not Recommended advisories issued, but it’s a good idea to check the Highway Hotline before heading out.
