Deadline Quickly Approaching For Submissions For The 2021 Yorkton Film Festival

It’s crunch time for filmmakers planning to enter their work in the 74th edition of North America’s longest-running short film festival.
Yorkton Film Festival executive director Randy Goulden says the board is looking at holding the festival in late May, but the deadline to enter films is fast approaching.
“We’re on countdown, so January 31st at midnight our submissions will close and those are the films that we will be taking to the 2021 Film Festival.” Goulden said.
She notes that so far, even in the midst of the pandemic, the number of entries thus far is on par with most years.
“The last week is where we get a majority (of the submissions),” Goulden noted.
Films can be submitted in 27 categories, and those wishing to enter their work can find more information online, at www.yorktonfilm.com, or by calling (306) 782-7077.
