Yorkton RCMP members were at the scene of what appeared to be a collision between a semi and a train west of the city on Orkney Road this afternoon (Fri).

A caller sent the tip to GX94 News, and our reporter, Matthew Dekker was at the scene, saying the semi looked to be heading south towards Highway 16.

When it comes to any damage, the semi’s trailer appeared to be hit, and there’s no report of anyone hurt.

RCMP members on scene only said an official news release will be sent out in due time.
