Suspect Facing Charges From Punnichy Area Crime Spree in May 2019 Appeared in Regina Court

One of four people charged, following a violent crime spree in the Punnichy area, remains in custody, after appearing in Regina Court on Friday.

25-year-old Jamie Munroe, who faces a total of 13 charges, including Assault Causing Bodily Harm, will be back in court on March 5th.

In May of 2019, police say a man was struck by a vehicle, then shot, on the Muskowekwan First Nation.

Then, the next day, an altercation on the Piapot First Nation led to one victim allegedly being struck with a machete, and the other being chased to the Muscowpetung First Nation.
