Federal Money Provided to Dauphin For Installation of Rapid Electric Vehicle Charger

Funding has been provided to the city of Dauphin to encourage the use of zero-emission vehicles.

50-thousand dollars has been provided to the city for the installation of a Rapid Electric Vehicle charger.

The investment also supports business development and tourism in the region, by ensuring that electric vehicles can get from Dauphin to Winnipeg and other Canadian destinations.

The project is viewed as a step for the federal government to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
