New Court Date Made For Man Charged in Connection to Domestic Disturbance Near Onanole, Manitoba

A man from the Municipality of Harrison Park, charged following a domestic disturbance, was back in court yesterday (TUES) in Minnedosa.

On July 21st, Clear Lake RCMP and the Emergency Response Team were deployed to a residence west of Onanole, on a report of a man threatening to shoot a woman.

The suspect locked himself in the home, but eventually surrendered to officers, and was observed to be suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and taken to hospital.

60-year-old Todd Fontaine is charged with Uttering Threats, Pointing a Firearm, and Break and Enter, and he remains in custody to appear in court again on February 16th.
