Comeback Plan in the Works for This Year’s Dauphin’s Countryfest

Even though the pandemic could still cause problems, organizers at Dauphin’s Countryfest are planning something for 2021.

General manager Rob Waloschuk says they are planning a comeback.

“We’re not quite sure yet what that’s going to look like, but we’re certainly working on it. Some of the positive stuff coming out of the whole vaccine and stuff like that certainly help us out a little bit,” he said.

Whatever the format is, Waloschuk says it’ll be an all-Canadian line-up, featuring artists like Dallas Smith, Johnny Reid and Paul Brandt.

He says, depending on what happens with the pandemic, they may stretch the event out over the entire summer this year.
