The new Saskatchewanderer for 2021 is Felipe Gomez.
In a news release, Gomez is touted as a musician, adventurer, educator and content creator.
Gomez says he is excited to showcase the diversity of Saskatchewan through digital storytelling, and is “pumped to explore every corner of Saskatchewan, experiencing all this province has to offer.”
The province says, in the same news release, Gomez “will find ways to safely showcase” what the province has to offer, ranging from businesses, art, cultures, landscapes and wildlife.
Minister Responsible for Tourism Saskatchewan, Jeremy Harrison, says Gomez “brings an impressive range of talents and a fresh perspective, as a new Canadian, to the role.”
Gomez is in the role until March of next year, and you can follow his adventures through the Saskatchewanderer’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube pages.
The Saskatchewanderer program is a joint initiative between the Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport and Tourism Saskatchewan.
