A sad ending to a missing persons case in The Pas. Last Thursday, RCMP responded to a report of a body found in an open area off Centennial Drive, and confirmed the remains as those of Barry Byrtus, who was 54 when he was reported missing January 4th. RCMP continue to investigate, but say the death does not appear suspicious.
