One of four people charged following a violent crime spree in the Punnichy area in the spring of 2019 remains in custody after appearing in Regina Provincial Court yesterday. 28-year-old Derek Pasap faces a total of twenty charges, including one count of Attempted Murder, and his next appearance was set for July 14th. In May of 2019, police say a man was struck by a vehicle, then shot, on the Muskowekwan First Nation. The next day, an altercation on the Piapot First Nation led to one victim being struck with a machete, and the other being chased to the Muscowpetung First Nation.
