Court Appearance Made By Winnipeg Man Charged in the Death of a Mountie

A court appearance has been made by a Winnipeg man accused of killing an RCMP officer in Wolseley.

In Regina Provincial Court this afternoon (Mon), 41-year-old Alphonse Traverse had his matters adjourned to July 5th.

His co-accused, 42-year-old Marlene Pagee, also of Winnipeg, is due in court this Wednesday (June 23) in Regina.

Both are facing multiple charges, including Manslaughter.

On the morning of June 12th Indian Head RCMP Constable Shelby Patton pulled over a truck that was reported stolen from Manitoba in the Town of Wolseley.

RCMP allege Patton died after being hit by the vehicle, which was later found in a field near the Town of Francis and two suspects were later taken into custody.
