A Man Charged With Attempted Murder Was Back In Court

A man charged following an attempted murder last fall, has made another court appearance. On October 4th, RCMP say the victim met three people outside of a Regina nightclub, and left in a vehicle with them. The suspects proceeded to beat, torture and rob the victim, before leaving them unconscious in a field, north of Fort Qu’Appelle with serious injuries. Both 24-year-old Austin Severight, of the Yellowquill First Nation, and 25-year-old Jenna Hoffman, of Wadena remain in custody, facing charges including Attempted Murder, Kidnapping, and Robbery. Severight will be back in court on July 6th, while Hoffman will make her next appearance on July 22nd.
