Another court appearance has been made by one of three people, charged in connection with a violent incident on the Cote First Nation. May 2nd, Kamsack RCMP were called to a home on the reserve, on a report of a violent break, enter, and assault, and found a man who was taken to hospital with serious injuries. In Kamsack Court yesterday, 19-year-old Jamie Quewezance was remanded to July 6th. Her co-accused, 18-year-old Sidney Rogers and 19-year-old Phoenix Shingoose, have each been sentenced to prison time, and a lifetime firearms ban.
