Canada’s border closure with the United States is set to expire on July 21st.
However, Transport Minister Omar Alghabra comments that there is no set date of when the border will re-open.
Alghabra notes that the country wants to be cautious and not re-open too quickly.
Meanwhile, on July 5th, Canada will beginning phase one of re-opening its borders, allowing fully vaccinated Canadians to return to the country without having to quarantine.
Phase two of the border re-opening plan will be announced in the coming weeks.
