A Man Who Allegedly Escaped Custody In Sask. Was Back In Court

A man from the Whitespruce Provincial Training Centre, who had escaped from custody on May 30th, has made another court appearance. 34-year-old Tyler Edwards had been wanted for Break, Enter and Theft, as well as Being Unlawfully at Large. The search for Edwards began on April 30th, after Mounties say he stole a vehicle from a supervised work site along Highway #9 south of Yorkton, and fled the area, and he was arrested in Weyburn on May 17th. Edwards appeared in Estevan yesterday, and he was remanded in custody, to appear there again on July 12th.
