A Man Charged With Attempted Murder Was Back In Court

A man charged following an attempted murder last fall, has made another court appearance. On October 4th, RCMP say the victim met three people outside of a Regina nightclub, and left in a vehicle with them. The suspects proceeded to beat, torture and rob the victim, before leaving them unconscious in a field, north of Fort Qu’Appelle with serious injuries. Both 24-year-old Austin Severight, of the Yellowquill First Nation, and 25-year-old Jenna Hoffman, of Wadena remain in custody, facing charges including Attempted Murder, Kidnapping, and Robbery. Severight will be back in court Friday for a bail hearing, while Hoffman will make her next appearance on July 22nd.
