Two Winnipeg Residents Charged in Connection to the Death of an Indian Head RCMP Officer Will Appear in Court Again Next Week

Court appearances have been made by two Winnipeg residents charged in the death of an RCMP officer.

41-year-old Alphonse Traverse has been remanded in custody for next Monday (July 12) in Regina Provincial Court, while 42-year-old Marlene Pagee has been remanded for next Wednesday (July 14) also in Regina.

The two accused face multiple charges including Manslaughter.

On the morning of June 12th, Indian Head RCMP Constable Shelby Patton stopped a truck in the Town of Wolseley, and while Patton was out of his vehicle, the truck allegedly ran him over.

The vehicle, which was reported stolen from Manitoba, was later found in a field near Francis and two suspects were taken into custody.
