Saskatchewan Announced 61 New Cases Of COVID-19, 26 Recoveries, 1 Death

COVID-19 case counts jumped in Saskatchewan.

61 new cases were identified with 2 in the Far North Central, 14 in the Far North West, 6 in the Far North East, 2 in the North West, 5 in the North Central, 13 in Saskatoon, 1 in the Central West, 3 in the Central East, 1 in Regina, 3 in the South West, 1 in the South Central and 6 in the South East.

56 residents are in hospital including 12 in ICU, 26 more recoveries were recorded, leaving 483 active cases, 13 of which are in the Central East region.

Saskatchewan also announced one death, located in the North Central region, bringing the total number of deaths to 579.

The seven day average of daily new cases rose in Saskatchewan to 50.
