Saskatchewan Reports 122 New Cases of COVID-19, 63 Recoveries, No New Deaths on Saturday

Saskatchewan recorded 122 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, increasing the provincial total to 51,162.

Among the new cases: Far North Central, 3; Far North West, 4; Far North East, 20; North West, 4; North Central, 7; North East, 4; Central West, 2; Saskatoon, 37; Central East, 2; South West, 1; South Central, 8; Regina, 2; South East, 10; 18 new cases are pending location.

On the province’s COVID-19 Dashboard, 77 people are in hospital, 63 recoveries were recorded, increasing the overall total to 49,618, and active cases in the province rose by 65 to 958. The Central East region has 30 active cases.

There are no new deaths due to COVID-19, leaving the provincial total at 586, and the seven day average of daily new cases is at 97.

There were 1,829 new tests for COVID-19 done in Saskatchewan, bringing the total to 984,425.

An additional 2,562 vaccine doses have been given in the province; the total number of second doses are at 674,499; the total number of vaccines administered is 1,444,378.
