Manitoba recorded 24 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, increasing the provincial total to 58,071.

The Winnipeg region has 12 new cases, the Southern region 6, and 3 each in the Interlake-Eastern and Northern regions. No new cases are in the Prairie Mountain Health Region.

67 people are in hospital, including 13 in the Intensive Care Unit, and 47 people recovered, bringing the total to 56,318.

The Prairie Mountain Health Region has 38 of the province’s 565 active cases.

Manitoba’s COVID-19 Death total is 1,187 after one new death was recorded.

An additional 1,183 COVID-19 tests have been done in the province, bringing that total to 899,058.

The test positivity rate provincially is 1.8 percent.
