A new court date has been set for a man who’s accused of escaping Esterhazy RCMP custody. In Broadview court, 27-year-old Jason Mitton was to October 7th om charges including Assault, Assault a Peace Officer, and Attempting to Escape Lawful Custody. Esterhazy RCMP say Mitton escaped their custody at the Esterhazy Hospital July 13th, but he was eventually located several kilometres east of the town, later that day.
