Yorkton man accused of role in alleged kidnapping has a new court date

One of two people arrested in connection with an alleged kidnapping in Yorkton, has made another court appearance.

34-year-old Dustin Kennedy of Yorkton was in today (Fri), where he was remanded in custody for October 5th.

One of his co-acccused, 30-year-old Tyson Ledoux of Regina, returns to court October 7th, while the other, 34-year-old Scott Cook of Yorkton, is still being sought by police.

Mounties say on September 7th, a man was walking in an alley near Independent Street, when he was pulled into a vehicle.

The victim was taken to a garage and threatened with firearms, before he was released.
