A Sask. Woman Will Go To Trial In An Accident Case

A 55-year-old woman has been committed to stand trial on charges stemming from a May 23rd incident on the Pasqua First Nation. RCMP were called to a home on the reserve after a man was hit by a vehicle, and later taken to hospital for treatment. A woman inside the home was arrested and charged with numerous offences, including Impaired Driving and Aggravated Assault. Laurenda Kahnapace has been committed to stand trial in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench, though no date has been set at this time.
