A Sask. Man Charged With Murder Was Back In Court

Another court appearance has been made by a Melfort man, charged in connection to a shooting incident on the James Smith First Nation. In Melfort court, 33-year-old Shawn Moostoos was remanded to November 15th. He faces two counts of First Degree Murder and one count each of Attempted Murder and Discharge a Firearm with Intent to Endanger Life. September 5th, three people were shot during an altercation at a home on the reserve, resulting in the deaths of a 37-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, while a 44-year-old man was sent to hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
