Jail For A Manitoba Man Found Guilty Of Manslaughter

Sentencing has been handed down to a Valley River First Nation man, who was found guilty of Manslaughter. 27-year-old Rylan McKay received just over seven years in prison, followed by three years of probation, but thanks to the time he’s already served in custody, he only has nine months left. On July 1st, 2017, RCMP responded to a report of human remains found on the Valley River First Nation. The investigation determined the 44-year-old man had died ten days earlier.
