Federal officials have released the latest modelling of COVID-19, and unsurprisingly, the omicron variant is driving infection rates higher. Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam says it’s changed the landscape of the pandemic, as it’s spread more rapidly than any other variant, taking less than 3 months to become the dominant strain. Tam says more than 37 thousand cases are being reported per day.
