A 22-year-old Punnichy area man arrested after a traffic stop in Regina last month, missed his scheduled court appearance. Walker Rennie faces eight charges, and he, along with 34-year-old Joshua Bird, of Kamloops, B.C., were to appear yesterday, but when they failed to show, the judge issued warrants for both of them. During a January 10th traffic stop, Regina Police saw a firearm in plain view on a seat of the vehicle, and a search also turned up a large knife.
