A Sask. Man Charged With Assault Was Back In Court

A Standing Buffalo First Nation Man charged with Attempted Murder following an alleged assault on the reserve was back in court last week. On June 22nd, Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP responded to a report of an injured woman at a home on the reserve, and she was taken to hospital with serious injuries. In December, 23-year-old Christopher Maple was committed to stand trial in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench, and on Friday, his jury trial was set for April 24th to May 5th of next year. His next pretrial appearance in Regina will be on April 8th.
