A Sask. Woman Charged In A Fatal Accident Was Back In Court

A Piapot First Nation woman, who has been committed to stand trial this fall on charges stemming from a fatal vehicle/pedestrian collision at a home on the reserve in August 2019, has made another court appearance. 45-year-old Leah Pratt is charged with Dangerous Driving Causing Death and Criminal Negligence Causing Death, and will stand trial in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench on October 3rd, though her next pretrial appearance will be on April 8th. 33-year-old Nolan Sugar was pronounced dead at a Regina hospital.
