A 30-year-old man, charged in connection with an alleged assault, made his first court appearance in The Pas yesterday. Shane Knutson, of the Opaskwayak Cree Nation, was remanded to next Monday in The Pas. Last Wednesday, RCMP received a report of a 40-year-old OCN man who had been shot in The Pas, suffering serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
