The search for a Kahkewistahaw First Nation woman has a happy ending.

38-year-old Leslie Sparvier was last spotted Saturday at the reserve and her vehicle was found abandoned near Miami, Manitoba on Sunday.

RCMP say Sparvier has been safely located and they thank the public for their assistance during the search.
