A Manitoba Man Charged With Arson Was Back In Court

A man accused of setting the oldest house in Russell on fire, has appeared in court again. In January of last year, RCMP were called to Pelly Avenue, where firefighters were battling a blaze that had fully engulfed the structure, built in 1888. About two hours later, a call came in to 9-1-1, in which a man said he started the fire, gave his location, and was found with a container of what was believed to be gasoline. In court yesterday, 23-year-old Liam Flett had his matters adjourned to May 18th.
