A Sask. Man Was Back In Court On Drug/Weapon Charges

One man was back in court yesterday om charges in connection with the March 30th search of an Archerwill residence. Mounties found quantities of drugs, including LSD, crystal meth, OxyContin and other assorted pills, as well as cash, ammunition, and various weapons, including a taser, machete, and an illegally-modified firearm. 54-year-old Rudi Betthel of Bjorkdale, who also faces similar charges, stemming from the search of a home there last month, had his matters adjourned for a bail hearing next Wednesday in Saskatoon. His co-accused, 38-year-old Holly Schweitzer, of Archerwill, will return to court in Rose Valley the same day.
