SGI is taking a two-pronged approach to June’s traffic safety spotlight. The insurance company’s Tyler McMurchy says they’re focusing on impaired driving and seat restraint use, noting 172 people were killed in impaired driving collisions in the past 5 years, and in 60 of those cases, people were also not properly restrained. He says the combination of both makes the situation even more reckless.
