Dauphin RCMP are investigating a theft from a historical site. Sunday, they were told someone knocked over the bell tower of the Trembowla Cross of Freedom museum and church, and stole the bronze bell, dating back to the 1890’s. 7 memorial plaques, also of bronze, in front of the buildings were also stolen. The thefts happened sometime between May 29 and June 12th. Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
