The COVID Alert App Is Being Decommissioned

The national COVID Alert App is being decommissioned. 6.9 million people downloaded the app, but only 57 thousand users entered their positive test, and chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam says in such a massive health situation, it’s important innovations, such as the app, to take place.
Meantime, Federal health officials have updated the Monkeypox situation in Canada. Globally, there are 1,285 confirmed cases in 28 countries, while in Canada there were 168 cases, with 141 in Quebec, 21 in Ontario, 4 in Alberta and 2 in B.C as of today.
