A series of public meetings will be held by Manitoba’s Immigration Advisory Council, throughout the province.
The council, created earlier this year, has 20 members with expertise related to immigration services, governance, economic development, analysis, project management and community integration.
Locally, two meetings will be held on June 29th, one from 11am-12:30pm at the Watson Arts Centre in Dauphin, the other from 3:30-5pm at the Veterans Community hall in Swan River.
The purpose of the meetings is to see how Manitobans can make the province more attractive to immigrants.
