A Kawacatoose First Nation man remains in custody after appearing in court yesterday on charges stemming from from an alleged assault on the reserve. 20-year-old Talon Worme will stand trial on charges including Robbery and Aggravated Assault, on September 20th, in Punnichy. His co-accused, 28-year-old Jesse Worme, is also in custody, to return to Punnichy Court next Tuesday for a bail hearing. May 6th, Punnichy RCMP received a report of an assault on the Kawacatoose First nation, that resulted in a man being taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
