Another Court Appearance For A Bjorkdale Man On Drug/Weapon Charges

A Bjorkdale man was back in court Friday, facing numerous drug and weapon charges, in connection with the March 30th search of an Archerwill residence. Mounties found quantities of drugs, including LSD, crystal meth, OxyContin and other assorted pills, as well as cash, ammunition, and various weapons, including a taser, machete, and an illegally-modified firearm. 54-year-old Rudi Betthel, who also faces similar charges, stemming from the search of a Bjorkdale home in March, had his matters adjourned for a bail hearing on August 10th, in Saskatoon. His co-accused, 38-year-old Holly Schweitzer, of Archerwill, will stand trial in Rose Valley Court on October 12th.
