A Man Facing Weapons Charges In Regina Was Back In Court

An update regarding two men facing weapon charges, following their arrest in Regina earlier this year. On January 10th, two men were arrested, after cops pulled over a vehicle with two men inside, and noticed a firearm in plain view on the front seat, along with a large knife under a seat. One of the men also allegedly gave a fake name to police. 34-year-old Joshua Bird, of Kamloops, B.C., appeared in Regina Provincial Court yesterday, and was remanded in custody, to appear again next Thursday. A warrant remains in effect for the other man charged, 22-year-old Walker Rennie, of the Punnichy district.
