A Bjorkdale Man Facing Drug/Weapon Charges Was Back In Court

A Bjorkdale man was back in court yesterday on numerous charges in connection with the March 30th search of an Archerwill residence. Mounties found quantities of drugs, including LSD, crystal meth, OxyContin and other assorted pills, as well as cash, ammunition, and various weapons, including a taser, machete, and an illegally-modified firearm. 54-year-old Rudi Betthel, who also faces similar charges, stemming from the search of a Bjorkdale home earlier in March, had his matters adjourned for a bail hearing on August 19th, in Saskatoon. His co-accused, 38-year-old Holly Schweitzer, of Archerwill, will stand trial in Rose Valley Court on October 12th.
