The 2022 Canada Summer Games has wrapped up in the Niagra region of Southern Ontario over the weekend.

Grenfell’s Lucas Muschoot and the Saskatchewan Male Volleyball team captured the Gold Medal yesterday (Sun) after a 4 set win over Team Alberta.

Meanwhile the Saskatchewan Male Softball team won a Bronze medal at the event despite losing to Ontario in the Semi-Finals on Saturday.

Wadena product Koby Faubert was a member of the Saskatchewan squad.

Saskatchewan finished in the medal standings with 32 medals. with 3 Gold, 13 Silver and 16 Bronze.

Meanwhile Manitoba, ended up in 6th place with 37 total medals.
