A Bjorkdale Man Facing Drug/Weapon Charges Was Back In Court

A Bjorkdale man was back in court yesterday, in connection with the March 30th search of an Archerwill residence. Mounties found quantities of drugs, including LSD, crystal meth, OxyContin and other assorted pills, as well as cash, ammunition, and various weapons, including a taser, machete, and an illegally-modified firearm. 55-year-old Rudi Betthel, who also faces similar charges, stemming from the search of a Bjorkdale home earlier in March, had his matters adjourned for a bail hearing on February 7th, in Saskatoon. His co-accused, 38-year-old Holly Schweitzer of Archerwill, returns to Rose Valley Court on February 8th.
