Extreme Cold Warning for the entire Parkland Region

It’s already cold but with the wind, it feels much colder.

An extreme cold warning is in effect for the entire Parkland Region, as temperatures in the minus 30 to 35 range, paired with 10-20 km/h winds, will create wind chill values in the minus 40 to 45 range.

In eastern Saskatchewan, these wind chill values are expected to back off later today and be borderline to meet the extreme cold criteria by tonight.

It’s a similar outlook for Manitoba today, but tomorrow night will see temperatures dip into the extreme cold range for the southern part of the province.
