A 3rd-party review of the City of Melville’s 2023 Capital and Operating Budget is almost complete.
That’s according to Acting City Manager Chris Bruce, who hopes to have the spending document presented to City Council in the coming weeks.
An interim budget was approved last month so the City can function as normal and ensure the review is finished. However, the Utility Budget was passed.
Changes within the Finance Department, among other factors, contributed to the budget not being fully-approved yet.
