March is Fraud Prevention Month and SaskTel is teaming up with CrimeStoppers to help protect residents from online fraud.

As part of the initiative, SaskTel is offering five tips to help protect yourself against online fraud and cyber scams.

Residents can use multi-factor authentication by requiring the user to use two or more verification factors, and have a strong and unique password for each online account.

Residents should also be aware of suspicious emails and text messages, never share personal information online, and always keep their devices up to date with the latest security patches.
